In late 2007, the MGL team went on a search for the #1 "how to" guitar course on the net.  We pretty much purchased anything we could find, whether it looked good or not, in order to make the most informed decision possible.  You name it, we bought it.  Everything from online membership sites ranging anywhere from $10-$100/month, to DVD courses ranging from $15-$400, to written instruction of all sorts, and even 1-on-1 lessons solely through the net via webcam.

The conclusion: Extreme disappointment!  It seemed everyone and their mom was churning out rehashed trash; basic, vague concepts without showing the actual nitty gritty of how to learn guitar.  I kid you not, over half of what we received was obviously scraped content from the well-known "Jamorama" products!  Basically just a bunch of low-life internet marketers out to make a quick buck, with absolutely no intention of actually helping you learn.  Sad, but true.  It seemed our search had been nothing but an immense disappointment...

...Until we came across Steve Krenz's "Learn and Master Guitar."

Now, we've written a full review of L&M on our Review Board so I won't go into too much detail right here, but I will say that "Learn and Master Guitar" is by far the BEST course for learning the guitar, not just online, ANYWHERE!  We found it that helpful!  Any time you can find a multi-sensory method for teaching anything you've hit the jackpot.  Some people learn better by seeing, some better by hearing, and some better by reading.  With L&M you get the best of all three.  The packaging and presentation of the learning materials are 10X more professionally done than anything else in the market.  Steve Krenz is a perfectionist, to say the least, and it's obvious he truly wants to help you learn and master the guitar.
